During the economic downturn, all sectors of society are trying their best to find a way out and new business opportunities. The construction industry is no exception. Everyone is suffering from the difficulties of the economic downturn. The market of building construction is largely affected by the economic environment. In the recession, everyone can only endure it.
But the infrastructure part of the construction industry is different. Infrastructure is mainly public works, funded, planned and built by the government. In the past, when the economy was down, the government would especially promote infrastructure projects to boost the economy. But this year, due to fiscal constraints, the government has reduced investment in infrastructure, making the situation in the industry even worse.
The Chief Executive is currently consulting on the Policy Address. I hope that the government will see the problem as soon as possible, plan and launch new public works projects as soon as possible, so as to save the construction industry from the dire situation, boost the economy, and inject economic vitality into the society.
On a personal level, I suggest that all members and friends seize opportunities to enrich themselves, learn new technologies, equip themselves better, and welcome the next round of new opportunities. Hope everyone is doing well in their work.
